Sentosa is an island in Singaport with 5 square kilometers in size. The Sentosa Island is one of the world famous resort and it has 2km long sheltered beach as it's attractions. Sentosa is a Malay word with the meaning of "peace and tranquility". Other attractions of this beautiful Sentosa Island are 02 Golf Courses, Fort Siloso, the Merlion and 14 nice hotels. Another most important thing in Santosa Island is Universal Studios Singapore. This has been founded in 19th century, because of the special harbour (name: Keppel Harbour) which was close to it. At the beginning Santosa Island was a military fortress of the British. The Cable Car has brought a special attention of the visitors in Santosa Island Singapore.
